Rotary Crate/Bin Washing, Drying Machine Key Features:
- Rotary Drum Mechanism: This cleaning machine comprises a rotary drum which turns at 6-8 RPM to enable 360-degree cleaning of bins/crates. This ensures all the surfaces of the two parties of the fabric are in contact with the cleaning solution and the drying air.
- High-Pressure Spray Nozzles: The stainless steel spray nozzles provide high pressure water jet mixed with some alkaline cleaned to remove the greases, dirt or any contaminants on the surface of bin or crate.
- Pneumatic Canopy: The canopy is opened and closed through the use of pneumatic cylinder; the canopy closes when the cycle begins to enhance sealing of the cleaning atmosphere. It opens at the end of the cycle for the dumping of products.
- Alkaline Wash with Hot Water: This machine uses heated alkalian solution to wash difficult to remove soils, while water in the washing process is heated to 60- 65°C.
- Air Blow Drying: After the wash cycle, air knives direct ambient air to dry the bins/crates; and a cold air option is available for additional drying.
- Stainless Steel Construction: The wetted part of the equipment is made of stainless steel (SS 304) because they have least chances of corrosion and the nonioned or non-wetted parts are made of mild steel with PU top coating.
- Filtration System: During the operation, contamination of the cleaning solution is prevented by having square bag filters and inline housing filters that are arranged in a multiple-stage filtration system.

Rotary Crate Washing & Drying Machine Process Flow:
- Loading: The operator manually transfers food items into a break down section in a removable stainless steel basket and places the plastic bin/crate into it.
- Washing: On the completion of the canopy closure, the rotary drum dumps, while high pressure nozzles wash the bin/crate with the alkaline solution.
- Drying: Air knives direct ambient air blowing to the bins/crates to eliminate moist content on the surfaces. If desired, cold air may be utilized for drying, and this is even more effective in the energy conservation point of view.
- Unloading: After the washing and drying process, the canopy opens and the operator began unloading the bin/crate which was cleaned.
